Positive Dialogue

In this course, you will learn how to increase the quality of the communication between you and other people by being a good listener, an active listener, or if you prefer, a good receiver.

We will go through and practise every significant detail that is involved in the process of communication. Furthermore, these are aspects that you can consciously influence in your role as a receiver. For example, there is no rule that stipulates that you should always listen to what other people say. Neither should you listen to people just in order to be nice. The important thing is to make sure that you carry out your work effectively and with quality. This is equally important when you talk to people and when they talk to you. For some people this means being an active listener for a large part of the workday, whereas others may only be an active listener for a few minutes a day. No matter how much time is involved, the main principle to keep in mind is that when you listen – do it well.
